Slurry Pump Spares Details

Slurry pump Volute Liner is an important wear part of slurry pumps. It forms a slurry pump chamber with throat bush and frame plate liner insert where the slurry would flow through them. Slurry volute Liner is a curved funnel increasing in area to the discharge port. It is often used with slurry pump impeller. As the area of the cross-section increases, the volute reduces the speed of the liquids and increases the pressure of the liquids. The main purposes of a volute liner is to help balance the hydraulic pressure on the shaft of the slurry pump.
 

Slurry Pump impeller is one of the most important parts of centrifugal slurry pump. Depending on site application, slurry pump impeller selection can be crucial to pump performance. Slurry applications can be especially hard on the impeller of slurry pump because of their abrasive nature. In order for your process to operate efficiently and stand up to the test of time, you must choose the proper slurry pump impeller.LongTeng^® offers three different types of slurry pump impellers: open, closed, and semi-closed. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, depending on the application. 

Slurry Pump Throat Bush links plate liner and forms a Pump chamber to work with impeller, as one of wetted parts for the slurry pump, Its wear-resistance is very important to pump worklife. LongTeng offers Cr27Mo high chrome alloy which is high abrasion resistance, and maintenance simplified by the use of tapered mating faces to allow positive accurate alignment during assembly and simple removal.

 

The Properties of The Rubber Material:
We have variety of natural rubber and elastomer, which can be used for pumping corrosive or acid slurry. But the rubber material is not suitable for slurry which contain sharp solids.
When the slurries contain fine particles, the rubber material features good performance of wear resistant.

EPDM Rubber	S01	S01 is widely used for impellers, frame plate liners, cover plate liners and throat bushes. Maxparticle diameter can be 8mm; impeller peripheral speed should be less than 25m/s; suitable for temperature not exceeding 120ºC(continuous duty) or 140ºC(discontinuous duty).
Nitrile Rubber(NBR)	S12	S12 is widely used for frame plate liners, cover plate liners, throat bushes, lip seals, impellers and expellers. Maxparticle diameter is 7mm; impeller peripheral speed should be less than 27m/s; suitable for temperature not exceeding 95ºC.
Butyl Rubber	S21	S21 is widely used for impellers, frame plate liners, cover plate liners, expellers, volute seals and throat bushes,. Maxparticle diameter can be 7mm; impeller peripheral speed should be less than 30m/s; suitable for temperature not exceeding 100ºC.
Hypalon	S31	S31 can be used for impellers, frame plate liners, cover plate liners and throat bushes,. It is recommended to use for strong acid slurry with mild or moderate corrosion. Max particle diameter can be 10mm; impeller peripheral speed should be less than 30m/s; suitable for temperature not exceeding 110ºC.
